Angus was a kind fisherman Every evening after work he walked along the beach. He liked to listen to the waves and to
gather shells.
Ine evening he was so tired so he sat down on a big rock by the sea. He looked at the waves and saw a group of seals.
The seals swam to the age of water. Angus closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes he saw a group of young women
They were wearing colourful dresses and were dancing on the Beach. On the sand nearby was a pile of seal skins.
Quietly, he took one of the seal skins and hid it in the rocks. After a while each woman returned to her fur skin, turned
into a seal again and swam away. One woman was left. She said to Angus, "Pleasel Give me back my skin so I can go
home. Angus said, "No!"Finally she followed him to his cottage. They got married and had three children. While Angus
was fishing she would often take them to swim in the sea. One day, the seal woman found her sealskin. One night she
left the cottage and ran to the sea.In the morning the children did not find their mother. They ran to the beach and saw
a big grey seal swimming in the waves.
From then on whenever they went to the sea, the grey seal was always there. They knew that it was their mother and
played with her in the water.
