Hey
Here's your answer !!

The given statement is ----->
Anhydrous copper sulphate turns black when it becomes hydrated copper sulphate .

But the statement is ** FALSE ** .

The correct statement is ----->
Anhydrous copper sulphate turns BLUE when it becomes hydrated copper sulphate .
_____

The blue hydrated copper sulphate will again turn into amorphous white if heated as it will lose its water of crystallisation .

CuSO4 ( white ) + 5H20 -----> CuSO4.5H2O ( blue ).

CuSO4.5H2O ( blue ) -----> CuSO4 ( white ) + 5H20.

Hope it helps !!
