case 1:

dis. = 72km

time= 48/60

=)0.8 hrs

speed= dis.* time

=) 72/0.8

=)720/8

=) 90 km/h

avg= (90+60)/2

=) 150/2

=) 75km/h(Ans.)

\huge{\underline{\sf{Solution:-}}}

Given:-

Total Distance Covered by Anil = 72 + 69 = 141 km

Time taken to Travel from Bristol to Cardiff = 48 minutes = 0.8 hours

Formula :- Average Speed = Total Distance / Total Time

\huge{\underline{\sf{Explaination:-}}}

Total Distance = 141 km ... (known)

To Find:- Time taken to reach Cardiff to Swansea

Formula :- Time = Distance / Speed

∴ Time taken = 69 / 60 = 1.15 hours

∴ Total time Taken from Bristol to Swansea = 0.8 + 1.15 = 1.95 hours

∴ Average Speed = Total Distance / Total Time

= 141 / 1.95

= 72.30 km/hr

Therefore, Anil's Average Speed from Bristol to Swansea was 72.30 km/hr.
