Step-by-step explanation:

total no. of marbel anil have = 762

no. of friends = 7

divided among all 7 = 762 ÷ 7 = 108.8

note : this value is comming in decimal no. so, now take the whole no. from it and multiply it with 7

so, marbles can be divided among friends = 108 × 7= 756

marbel left with anil = 762 - 756= 6 marbels

so each friend will get 108 marbles and anil will have 6 marbles left .

Here it is given that Anil has 762 marbles.

He has to divide the marbles among his seven friends equally

When we divide 762 by 7 we get 108.8

Now, the marbles have to be divided as a whole.

So it can not be divided as 108.8 per person.

756 marbles can be equally divided between 7 people

So, when we will divide 756 by 7, we will get 108.

So, everyone will get 108 marbles

And the marbles left will Anil = 762 - 756

                                                = 6
