Anilline is a liquid which doesn't mix with waters
and when a Small quantity of it is poured into
a beaker of Water at 20°c it sinks to the bottom the densities of two liquid at 20°c being 1021 kg\m3 and 998 kg\m3 respectively. To what temperature must the beaker and its contents be uniformly heated so that the aniline will form a globule which just floats
in water? [Mean absolute expansivity of
aniline
and water over the temperature range
concerned are 0.00085k-1 and 0.00045k-1
