Plants cells have a more stable and permeable membrane covering around the cell which is called the cell wall . Its a cellulosic substance and gives the plant a rigid structure . Whereas the animal cells have the outer membrane made of the phospholipid bilayer . It has small unit which contains a head and a tail and the whole structure is a integrated double layer of this fundamental unit . There are proteins embeded in the membrane which facilitate motion of substance around the layer . It also has some glycolipids which helps in the metabolic processes in the cell .
There are more differences based on the structure of plant and animal cell . I have attached a diagram which shows fee fundamental differences between the two types of cells .

Explanation:
Plant cell are more rigid then animal cell coz plant cells contains cell wall where as there is absence of cell wall in animal cell. Cell wall is made up of cellulose. It gives plant cell it's shape.
