(a) striated muscle tissue(skeletal) : It is closely attached to the skeletal bones. They are voluntary as their functioning can be directly controlled. (b) Unstriated muscle tissue ( smooth ) : The smooth muscle fibers taper at both ends and do not show striations. They are involuntary as their functioning cannot be directly controlled. (c) Cardiac muscle tissue : It is a contractile tissue present only in heart. Cell junction fuse the plasma membrane of cardiac muscle cells and make them stick together
