Animals such as Arctic Fox, the Musk Ox, Snow Owl, Arctic Hare etc. are native to the Tundra and have been living there for ages. They have adapted physically for living in the extreme cold and for hunting and surviving in the cold wilderness.
Similarly, Orangutans, Jaguars, Capybara etc. which live in the Tropical region have adapted themselves to a life in the tropics over a very long period of time.
Compared to such animals, human beings are fairly new to these wild areas. Humans have evolved faster than animals and have found ways of overcoming the harsh terrain and climate of such regions. As a result, the need to adapt is no longer required for humans.
