animals that hibernate eat a lot before hibernating.why?

because they store food in body .during hibernating their body uses this food

bcoz when they hibernate they can't eat actively anything thus their body store fat and liver goes through process of glycogenolysis. to give energy to body iorder to remain fully functional.
