Anindita has a pieace of pipe of canvas whose area is 551cm2 she used it to have a conical tent with the base radius of 7 m assuming that all the stiching margins and the wastage incurred while cutting amount to 1 m2 find the slant height of the conical tent

CSA of conical tent

550 = \pi \: r \: l

550 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times l

550 = 22 \times 1 \times l

l =  \frac{550}{22}  \\ l = 25m

thus the slant height l= 25m
