Define x:

Let the amount that Anish has be x

The amount Balu has = 1210 - x

4/5 of Anish's amount is 2/5 of Balu's amount:

4/15 x = 2/5 (1210 - x)

Solve x:

4/15 x = 2/5 (1210 - x)

4/15 x =484 - 2/5 x

4/15 x + 2/5 x = 484

2/3 x = 484

x = 484 ÷ 2/3

x = 726

Find the amount of money each have:

Anish = x = Rs 726

Balu = 1210 - x = 1210 - 726 = Rs 484

Answer (4) Balu has Rs 484
