Solution!!

•• Income = Rs 9,000

→ Amount spent on bills = 20% of 9,000

→ Amount spent on bills = (20/100) × 9,000

→ Amount spent on bills = 20 × 90

→ Amount spent on bills = Rs 1800

→ Amount spent on groceries = 15% of 9,000

→ Amount spent on groceries = (15/100) × 9,000

→ Amount spent on groceries = 15 × 90

→ Amount spent on groceries = Rs 1350

Total amount spent = Rs 1800 + Rs 1350

Total amount spent = Rs 3150

Amount left with Anish in the end = Rs 9,000 - Rs 3,150

Amount left with Anish = Rs 5850

Since T.income is Rs 9000

Amount spend on paying bills = 20% of 9000

= 20/100 × 9000

⇒ ₹1800

Amount spent on buying grocery

= 15% of 9000

= 15/100 × 9000

⇒ 1350

∴ Total amount spent on bills and

grocery = ₹1800 + ₹1350

Rs. = 3150/− solution
