Anita and Rasha were doing an experiment in which water has to be heated
in a beaker. Anita kept the beaker in the middle zone of the candle flame.
Rasha kept the beaker in the outer zone of the flame. Which water will get
heated in a shorter time? Why?
d) Candle burns with a flame but coal burns without flame. Do you agree?

a) Rasha's beaker will get heated in a shorter time because she had kept the beaker in the outermost zone which is the hottest part of the candle and has high temperature.
d) candle burns with a flame because candle is a flammable substance and do not leaves residue behind after burning whereas coal is an inflammable substance which leaves behind a blackish substance after burning.Coal has sulphur due to which it do not burns with flame.
I had written this on my own and this is the correct answer as the same chapter is going on in my science class.(combustion and flame).
so please mark it as brainiest answer.
Thank You :)
