Given:-

Anita bought 2m 70cm cloth for his shirt and 2m 85cm cloth for her trouser.

To find:-

Total Length of the cloth bought by her.

Solution:-

Cloth bought for shirt =2m 70cm

Cloth bought for trouser =2m 85cm

  • First we have to convert them into meters or centimetres
  • let's convert into cm
  • we know that
  • 1m=100cm

\qquad{:}\longrightarrow\sf 2m 70cm=270cm

\qquad{:}\longrightarrow\sf 2m 85cm=285cm

  • Now add

\qquad{:}\longrightarrow\sf 270+285

\qquad{:}\longrightarrow\sf 555cm

\qquad{:}\longrightarrow\sf 5.55m

\therefore\sf Total\:cloth\:bought\:by\:her\:is\:5.55m.
