It's given that,

No. of toffees Anita and Kavita had :-

• Anita had 54 toffees
• Anita had 54 toffeesKavita had 48 toffees.

No. of toffees they distributed in their birthdays :-

• Anita used 36 toffees on her birthday
• Anita used 36 toffees on her birthdayKavita used 32 on her birthday.

Now, Number of toffees they used :-

Anita = (54 - 36) toffees = 18 toffees

Kavita = (48 - 32) toffees = 16 toffees.

And the fraction :

• Anita = 18/54 = 1/3
