Given :-

The total savings of Anita per month : Rs. 2500

The spends of her income Food in a month : 30%

The spends of her income on rent in a month : 15%

The spends of her income on other items in a month : 5%

To find :-

The monthly income and the expenditures on each item.

Solution :-

The total percentage of Expenditure given is : 50%

Therefore, Savings + expenditure = monthly income of Anita .

Savings : Rs. 2500

Expenditure : 50 % of 2500 = Rs. 1250

Income = 1250 + 2500 = Rs. 3750

Expenditures: -

Food: 30% of 3750 = Rs. 1125

Rent: 15% of 3750 = Rs. 562.5

Other items: 5% of 3750 = Rs. 187.5

Answer:

anita spends 30% on food+15% on rent+5% on others items=50% total expenses

she saves 50%of the income

so 50% of income =2500

1% of income =2500/50

100%of income =2500*100/50

=5000

so her monthly income is 5000 and expenditures is 2500
