number of Rs 10 coins = 3x

number of Rs. 5 coins  = 7x

number of Rs 2 coins = 30 - 3x +7x = 30 - 10x

total rs  = 150

(3x X 10) + (7x X 5) + 2(30 - 10x) = 150

30x + 35x + 60 - 20x = 150

45x = 150 - 60

x = 90/45 = 2

Number of 10 rupee note = 3x= 6

Number of 5 rupee note = 7x = 14

Number of 2 rupee note = 30 - 10x = 30 - 20 = 10

Ratio of Rs10 : Rs5 = 3 : 7 (Given))

Define x:

Let x the constant ratio:

Ratio of Rs 10 : Rs 5 = 3x : 7x

Find the number of Rs 2 coins expressed in x:

number of Rs 2 coins = 30 - 3x - 7x = 30 - 10x

Solve x:

Given that the total sum is Rs 150

10(3x) + 5(7x) + 2(30 - 10x) = 150

30x + 35x + 60 - 20x = 150

45x = 90

x = 2

Find the number of coins each:

Rs 10 = 3x = 3(2) = 6

Rs 5 = 7x = 7(2) = 14

Rs 2 = 30 - 7x = 30 - 10(2) = 10

Answer: There are 10 Rs 2, 14 Rs 5 and 6 Rs 10
