Anitha used 2 m 40 cm of red ribbon and 3 m 68 cm of green ribbon for her dress find the total length of the ribbon used

The total length of ribbon used by Anitha is 608cm or 6m 8 cm

Explanation
1m=100cm
2m=200cm
200+40=240cm
3m=300cm
300+68=368cm

Total length = length of red ribbon + length of green ribbon
Total length =240+368cm
608cm
Convert it into m = 1/100
608/100
Answer in m = 6m and 8cm
