A does (1/25)th of the work in a day.

B does (1/30)th of the work in a day.

A and B do (1/25)+ (1/30) = (30+25)/750 = (55/750)th of the work in a day.

In 5 days A and B together complete 5*55/750 = 275/750 = (11/30)th of the work.

The work remaining to be done after the 5 days of joint work by A and B = (19/30)th of the work.

Hope this'll help you.

Step-by-step explanation:

A does (1/25)th of the work in a day.

B does (1/30)th of the work in a day.

A and B do (1/25)+ (1/30) = (30+25)/750 = (55/750)th of the work in a day.

In 5 days A and B together complete 5*55/750 = 275/750 = (11/30)th of the work.

The work remaining to be done after the 5 days of joint work by A and B = (19/30)th of the work.
