anjana is now 12 years old and ragini is 24 years old. how many years ago was ragini three times as old as anjana?

Before 6 years ago
age of Anjana was (12-6)=6 years
age of Ragini was(24-6)=18 years
So ,6 years ago ragini was three times as old as anjana

aniruddhshaurya: 3(12-x)=(24-x). 36-3x=24-x. -x+3x=36-24. 2x=12. x=6
