After three years,

Veena's age = x+3

Anju's age = 3x+3

According to the question, Anju's age after three years will be 7 years more than twice the age of Veena. So,

3x+3 = [2(x+3)]+7

3x+3 = [2x+6]+7

3x+3 = 2x+13

3x-2x = 13-3

x = 10,

3x = (3*10) = 30

Therefore, Veena's present age is 10 years and Anju's present age is 30 years.
