Solution:

Amount of homework done by her on Saturday =$\frac{3}{8}$

Amount of homework done by her on Sunday =$\frac{1}{4}$

Total work done = $\frac{3}{8}+\frac{1}{4}$

Total work done =$\frac{3+2}{8}=\frac{5}{8}$

Hence She did 5/8 homework over the weekend
