amount= p(1+r/100)*t

= 8000(100/100+8/100)*1

= 8000*108/100

= 80*108

= 8640

simple interest = p*r*t/100

=( 8000*8*1/2)/100

= 80*4

=320

total amount= 8640+320= 8960
