Ankit's present age is three times Priyanka's. The sum of the present ages of Ankit, Priyanka and Ankit's father is 142 years. Ankit's father's present age is 13/8 that of Ankit. What is the difference between Priyanka's present age and Ankit's father's present age ?

Ankit's Present age is three times the Priyanka's age.

Ankit's Present age = 3M.

Ankit's father's present age is 13/8 that of Ankit.

And also given that, the sum of the age of three

members = 142 years.

M + 3M + 39M/8 = 142

4M + 39M/8 = 142

(32M+39M)/8 = 142

71M = 142(8)

71M = 1136

M = 1136/71

M = 16

Hence , Priyanka's age = 16 years

Ankit's age = 3(16) = 48 years

Ankit's father's age = 13(48)/8

= 78 years.

Difference between Priyanka's age and Ankit's father's age = 78 - 16
