SP of 1 pair of jeans = Rs. 990
Total SP = Rs. 1980
So,
CP of 1st pair of jeans = 100x990/(100+10)
= 100x990/110
= Rs. 900
Again,
CP of second pair of jeans = 100x990/(100-10)
=100x990/90
= Rs. 1100
Now,
Total SP = Rs. 2000
Total CP = Rs. 1980
SP > CP = gain
gain = Rs.20
Gain% = 20/1980 ×100/1
= 100/99
= 1 whole 1/99 or 1 1/99
Hence, The gain % ankit got was 1 1/99 %
Total SP = Rs. 1980
So,
CP of 1st pair of jeans = 100x990/(100+10)
= 100x990/110
= Rs. 900
Again,
CP of second pair of jeans = 100x990/(100-10)
=100x990/90
= Rs. 1100
Now,
Total SP = Rs. 2000
Total CP = Rs. 1980
SP > CP = gain
gain = Rs.20
Gain% = 20/1980 ×100/1
= 100/99
= 1 whole 1/99 or 1 1/99
Hence, The gain % ankit got was 1 1/99 %
