Answer:

His loss per cent in the whole transaction is 1%

Step-by-step explanation:

Case of first jeans

Sp of jeans = Rs990

Gain % = 10%

CP = SP×100/100+G%

= 990×100/100+10

= 900

Case of second jeans

SP of jeans = Rs990

Loss % = 10%

CP = SP×100/100-L%

= 990×100/100-10%

= 1100

So,

Total CP = Rs(900+1100)

= Rs 2000

Total SP = Rs(990+990)

= Rs 1980

Since, SP<CP

So, Loss = CP-SP

= 2000-1980

= Rs 20

Loss % = Loss/CP×100

= 20/2000×100

= 1%

HENCE HIS LOSS PERCENTAGE IN THE WHOLE TRANSACTION IS 1%
