Ankit wants to cover a floor of a room which is 10 M long and 5 M wide with square tiles if side of each square tile is 0.5 m then find the number of tiles required to cover the floor of a room

Area of tile =0.5*0.5=0.25m²

Area of square =10*5=50m²

Tiles required =50/0.25

Tiles required =200

Area of one tile = 0.5*0.5 = 0.25 m^2
Area of floor = 10*5
= 50m^2
Therefore , total number of tiles required to cover the floor. = 50/0.25
= 200 tiles
