Then by tieing the string to the gold locket, Ankur can meaure the volume by immersing the locket into a measuring cylinder filled with water. He can thus find the density by finding the ratio of mass and volume. If the density of the locket is same as the density given (19.3 g/cm^3) so, the gold locket is pure.
