Given : anna's father promised that be would double amount of money she has in her piggybank

anna counted 10 pieces 20-pesos bii,22 pieces 10-pesos coin and 31 pieces 5-pesos coin.

To Find : how many does her dad have to pay he

how much money will he have after father's payment

what property of operation is being used in the situation

Solution:

Anna counted 10 pieces 20-pesos

Hence Amount = 10 x 20 = 200 Pesos

( Multiplication Used Here)

22 pieces 10-pesos coin

= 22x 10

= 220 Pesos

31 pieces 5-pesos coin

= 31 x 5

= 155   Pesos

Amount = 200 + 220 + 155   =  575 Pesos    ( addition operation )

father pay  =  575 Pesos

Total  after father payment = 575 + 575  = 1150  Pesos
