Annabelle is taking the Polar Express ALL the way to the North Pole! The Polar Express is 100 meters long and it takes 30 seconds to cross Santa¡¯s 400m ice bridge. What speed is the train going at?

So...Given ,
Length of train = 100m
Length of ice bridge = 400m
Total distance to be covered = Length of train + length of ice bridge
= 400+100
= 500m
Time taken = 30s
Speed = distance / time
= 500 / 30
=16.6666
=16.67m/s
Or if we want speed in km/h, we need to multiply 5/18 with the speed in m/s
=16.67 ×5/18
=4.630
=4.6km/h
