a) Percentage ( % ) of Annaya's marks : 84%

$\rm \implies \frac{ \cancel{420} \: \: ^{84} }{ \cancel5 \cancel{00}} \times 1 \cancel{00} \: \% \\ \rm \: percentage \: (\%) \: got \: by \: annanya \: = 84\%$

b) Percentage ( % ) of Riya's marks : 86.95%

$\rm \implies \frac{400}{ \cancel{46} \cancel0 \: 23} \times \cancel{10} \cancel0 \: 5\% \\ \rm \implies\frac{2000}{23} \% \\ \implies \: 86.95\%$

c) Riya has performed better as she has got 86.95 % whereas Annanya has got 84%.
