Sanne: Anne, is everything okay?

Anne: Yes, all is well. Why do you ask?

Sanne: Because you were very quiet in class today.

Anne: Oh, I see. I didn't want to disturb the class.

Sanne: But Mr. Keesing has finally allowed you to talk in class.

Anne: Yes, he has, but I realised that I do distract the others.

Sanne: Not really. There are others talking too.

Anne: True, but somehow I feel guilty about causing a disturbance. It isn't fair to the others.

Sanne: You are a strange g#rl. First you insist on talking and get punished for it. We even wrote the duckling poem as a punishment. And now, suddenly when you're allowed to speak, you don't want to!

Anne: I don't blame you, Sanne. It does sound strange, but it's that moment of realisation, when you understand what is more important- speaking or studying.

Sanne: Well, suit yourself.

Anne: Please don't be upset with me.

Sanne: I'm not angry, just very confused.

Anne: I am confused as well. Imagine how confused Mr. Keesing would be!

Sanne: I never thought of it. He must be so muddled! He might even call you to ask you if everything is fine.

Anne: This is hilarious! Do you seriously think he would get worried?

Sanne: He ought to. You have been giving him trouble for so long and suddenly you mend your ways, after being permitted to talk in class. It is very worrying.

Anne: Who would know that better than you? You too got so worried.

Sanne: I honestly couldn't understand what had happened to you.

Anne: Now you know.

Sanne: Yes, but I had to ask you about it.

Anne: Which you did, like a true friend. Thank you!

Explanation:

Sanne: Anne, how are you?

Anne: I am fine.

Sanne: Well you look a bit different these days?

Anne: In what sense?

Sanne: Anne, i have observed that you remain pretty silent in class now

Anne: Oh yes, that is true. Ever since i was allowed to speak by Mr keesing, i realised myself that my talking in the class leads to disturbance not only to our teacher but also hurts the studies of other students.

Sanne: I am glad to know that you have a good change in yourself

Anne: Thankyou Sanne
