Miss Anne Sullivan was sent to teach Helen Keller who was deaf and blind. As a teacher she was extremely patient with Helen Keller.she knew the problem of child without sight and hearing must be facing it was aware of psychology of such a person.she handled Helen sensitively when she got frustrated.Miss Sullivan made Helen confident by making her self dependent.

she took her to various places and taught her in natural surroundings, encouraging Helen to touch ,feel and explore.she motivated Helen to read, write and speak like others.Teacher like her not only a teacher but a true friend.

She worked very hard at learning herself entertain imparting same to Helen.miss sullivan's selfless nature dedication and pre severance matched with Helen's eagerness to learn became the reason for helen's achievements.Miss Sullivan made it a practice to speak to Helen as she would to a child who can hear.she did not underestimated Helen which was very important for a teacher to understand.

It was miss Sullivan who folded and developed the knowledge about life in Helen.without her teacher Helen would be Lost in her dark and silent world.miss Sullivan became helen's Eyes and ears and finally due to her constant support trust and motivation Hellen could study and learn like other students and could write and speak too.

hope it helps....
