Heya !!
A good question !!
Here is your answer :-
Miss Anne Sullivan was Helen's instructor (teacher) sent from Perkins Institution for the blind. She was sent to teach Helen, who was deaf and blind. As a teacher, Miss Anne Sullivan was extremely patient and tolerant with Helen.
She new the problems of a child without sight and hearing must be facing and was aware of the psychology of such a person. She handled Helen sensitively but firmly. When Hellen got frustrated and threw tantrums, Miss Anne Sullivan dealt with each incident in a practical way.
She knew what Helen wanted and accordingly taught her to communicate with other people around her.
Miss Sullivan made Helen confident by making her self confident. A teacher like her was not only the guiding Force for Helen but a true friend, companion and a mother like figure.
Miss Sullivan's selfless nature, dedication and determination, matched with Helen's eagerness to learn, were the reasons for helen's wonderful achievement.

anne Sullivan indeed was like ray of light in Helen's life. this is because she made helen realise her true potential and proved it that blind and deaf kids too can be educated. she gave Helen's aimless life a direction and taught her to express herself.
anne Sullivan came to teach helen ehen helen was at her worst. she was tired of being odd one out and was desperate that nobody would understand her. when anne came in her life , helen was a mischievous child and didn't care for others. but , her teacher not only taught her alphabets and names of different things with unmatched patience but also taught her the way of life. with her , helen learned to be calm , expressive , caring and most important , normal. anne broke the invisible wall which stood between helen and the world . she became her pupils' eyes , ears and mouth. she told her about the beauty of this world and also made her understand that every single thing in this world had unique existence.
when travelling , helen would ask thousands of questions about her surroundings and miss sullivan would answer them back , writing on her palm patiently . she inspired helen yo try to speak and also to go to university . even there , she would sit with helen and tell her everything that her professors were speaking . during the ' frost king ' incident , anne remained by her side and even after that , when helen was too afraid to write , she encouraged her to write , without being afraid . so , to summarize , anne Sullivan was a person ,no less than god for helen , who colours Helen's black and white world with so many colours and taught her to enjoy nature and to never be oppressed just because she was differently abled.
hope it helps☺️☺️☺️☺️
