The expense of A = Rs. 5000

Income of A = Rs. 8000

Income of B = Rs. 9000

Let the expense of A be x, the expense of B = 3x/5.

Let the savings of A be y , the saving of B = 2y .

Saving of the person = income of the person - expense of the person from

For A , y = 8000 - x --------(1)

For B , 2y = 9000 - 3x/5 ---------(2)

Substituting value of y from equation (1) to equation (2).

=> 2(8000 - x) = 9000 - 3x/5

=> 16000 - 2x = 9000 - 3x/5

=> 7000 = 7x/5

=> x = 5000

The expense of the person A = Rs. 5000
