Ans1 :- A force is a push, pull or a twist which has a tendency to change the shape, state of rest or of uniform motion of the body on which it has been applied.

Ans2 :- it's SI unit is kg m /s² or Newton.

Ans3 :- the force which when appied on a body of mass of 1kg provides the acceleration of 1m/s^2 is known as 1 newton force.

1 newton foce = 1kg m/s^2.

Ans4 :- Balanced force :- When two equal forces act on the same object on opposite directions then they are called as balanced forces. These forces give a net force of 0 Newton, as they cancel each other, but these forces can change the shape of objects.

Ans5 :- Frictional force is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and/or material elements sliding against each other. Eg. friction exerted by road on our foot wear while walking, friction experienced by a ship while moving through the water, etc.

Ans6 :- The tendency of a body to remain in its state of rest or uniform motion in absence of an external force is called inertia.

Ans7 :- first law :- an object remains in the state of rest or in the state of uniform motion in a straight unless it is compelled to change the state by an applied force

Ans8 :- second law :- the rate of change of momentum of an object is proportional to the applied unbalanced force in the direction of force.

Ans9 :- Momentum is a measure of the quantity of motion in a body. It depends upon the mass and velocity of the body. So, more the momentum, more the quantity of motion. Like saying more the temperature, the hotter the body.  It's formula is

p = mv

Where, P =momentum,

m =mass of the body,

v =velocity of the body.

The SI unit of momentum is kgm/s.

Now, a change in momentum implies that a force has been applied.

Ans10 :- Third law :- Newton's third law of motion satates that to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Action and reaction forces are equal in magnitude but opposite in direction.

Ans11 :- body having 20 kg will experience more inertia since inertia is proportional to mass

Ans12 :- Inertia depends on the mass of the body. Inertia is directly proportional to the mass of the body because as we know greater the inertia of the body, greater will be the force required to bring a change in it's state of rest or state of motion. Since force is equal to the product of mass and acceleration, so greater the force, more is mass acceleration being constant.

Ans13 :- Linear momentum depends upon the mass and velocity of the body.

Ans14 :- The word “decides” would probably be better phrased “determines.”

What determines the rate of change of momentum of an object.

Force is often written as F=ma Add up all

the changes in momentum in exchanges

with other objects, and you have the net

force (rate of change of momentum) for

the object or system you’re looking at.
