☆☞ Here is ur answer ☜☆

✔✔ Musical instruments like guitar are provided with a hollow box so that when the strings are set into vibration, forced vibrations are produced in box.

✔✔ Since the box has a large area, it sets a large volume of air into vibration which produces a loud sound of same frequency as that of the string.

Answer:

Explanation:

✔✔Because the vibrating body itself produces very weak vibrations which cannot be heard at the distance so we used guitar and sitar in hollow box

✔✔So that they produce much sound which can be heard at the distance

✔✔When they match with the natural frequency of sitar and guitar in hollow box which contain air in it.Which helps to produce much sound .

Hope it helps you
