Answer:

1) 198, 132 and 88

2)2,00,000

Step-by-step explanation:

(1)

As run of Ramesh and Mohan = 3:2

Let run by Ramesh = 3x and

Run by Mohan = 2x

Similarly,

Let run by Mohan = 3y and

Run by Suresh = 2y

Therefore, 2x = 3y

=} y = 2x/3

Now 3x + 2x + 2y = 418

=} 3x + 2y + 4x/3 = 418 [Substituting value of y here]

=} 19x = 1254

=} x = 66

Now, y = 2 × 22 = 44

Hence,

Run of Ramesh = 198

Run of Mohan = 132

Run of Suresh = 88

(2)

Similar to the previous question,

Let the same ratio be a : b

Now,

A/B = ax : bx

B/C = ay : by

Similarly, equating B,

ay = bx

y = bx/a

As the ratio is same for both,

ax/bx = ay/by

bx × ay = ax × by

2ay = 1,60,000 × 2,50,000 [ A got 1,60,000 = ax & C got 2,50,000 = by]

2 × amount received by B = 1,60,000 × 2,50,000

Amount received by B = 2,00,000 [Answer]
