:: After the defeat of Napoleon in the battle of waterloo in 1815 , European government was started to ruled by a spirit of conservatism.
:: conservatives beleived that the established, traditional institutions of the society like monarch, social hierarchy, property should be preserved.
:: They stand to bring down all the changes and establish Monarchy again.

The main intention behind treaty of Vienna was to restore monarchy that had been overthrown by Napoleon and create a new conservative order in Europe.:-
:: The monarchial bourbon dynasty which has been deposed during French revolution, was restored to power.
:: Boundaries were set up around revolutionary France to limit further expansion in future as this was the main source from where idea of liberty was spreading out. (refer to ncert page no. 11 to check out which state was setup where).
