Given Equation is 4a^2 - 9b^2 - 2a - 3b

= > (2a)^2 - (3b)^2 - 2a - 3b

We know that a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)

= > (2a + 3b)(2a - 3b) - (2a + 3b)

= > (2a + 3b)[(2a - 3b) - 1)]

= > (2a + 3b)(2a - 3b - 1).

Hope this helps!
