In parallel,
1/R=1/30+1/10
R=30/4
I=V/R
I=3/(30/4)
I=12/30
I=0.4A

you are telling that there are only 3 resistors but there are 4 resistors
3 are in series and the series is in parallel with the 4th one
up two resistors are in series—-1
down two resistors are in series—-2
solving 1&2
they both are parallel
down two resistors are in series—-2
solving 1&2
