Current drawn is 0.4A

Equivalent Resistance=

In series,

R=10+10+10

R=30

In parallel,

1/R=1/30+1/10

R=30/4

I=V/R

I=3/(30/4)

I=12/30

I=0.4A

kusum2003kin: The up two 10Ohms are in series and down two are also in series but separately..

Like 10+10=20ohm
(for up two resistances)——K

10+10=20ohm (for down two resistances)——-K2

k1and K 2 are in parallel connection

1/20+1/20=1/10
=10ohm

now r=10ohm
I=?
v=3v

by ohms law

v=ir
i=0.3A
kusum2003kin: noo it has series and parallel both
kusum2003kin: u can ask ur mentors too

Check on internet what exactly is parallel and series connection..
it would be better for ur exams..
kusum2003kin: i am just helping u for ur xams.. i will gain nothing by sending u this answer.. i just want u clear out ur doubts..
TotalNerd: I changed my answer. Please check it. Thanks
kusum2003kin: 0.3 buddy.. u can check on internet by typing this exact same ques..
chinthan74: thank fot ur concern
chinthan74: you are telling that there are only 3 resistors but there are 4 resistors
TotalNerd: 3 are in series and the series is in parallel with the 4th one
kusum2003kin: up two resistors are in series—-1
down two resistors are in series—-2

solving 1&2
they both are parallel
