find the area of larger circle using r=14cm nd then find area of smaller circle using r=9cm the subtract area of larger circle to area of smaller circle

short way to solve =

area of circle= pie(R^2-r^2)..

here, R1 = 9cm

and, R2 = (9+5)cm

= 14cm

Now area of way,

=π[ R2² - R1² ]

=π[ 14² - 9² ]

=π[ 14 - 9 ][ 14 + 9 ]

{ Since,(a-b) (a+b) = a²-b² }

=22/7 × 5 × 23

=3.14 × 115

=361.6cm²
