This a experiment regarding to photosynthesis.

This experiment lead us to know , that sunlight is necessary for photosynthesis.. in the above experiment given in the question the main focus is to detect that sunlight. is necessary for photosynthesis..

The experiment takes place In two ways , or fields first a black paper is cut and placed on the leaf and put the setup in bright light... and contrary to that a simple plant is placed on the sunlight after a time interval iodine , starch test is performed..... As a result the leaf which has a black covering show negative test.. it becomes golden brown with iodine test, where as the other leaf without covering shows positive results , blue black with starch test....... thus it is proved that sunlight is necessary for photosynthesis...
