Saving the Girl Child

Saying boys and girls are equal can't change the mind of the people in our surrounding. These always remain in speeches and saying.

But the ground reality is that even today girls and boys are not considered equal in our society. This may be due to lack of education and their cheap thinking.

Going through a column I saw that a baby girl of one year was left at the railway station by their parents. This is so shameful for all of us that in the era of technology and modernisation, we people have thoughts and mindset like this.

We need to change our mindset. We will have to make the people understand that don't discriminate between a boy and girl.
