We know that :-

Cos x = base / hypotenuse

Now , here it is given as :-

cos θ = b/√(a²+b²)

Therefore, base of triangle = b and hypotenuse = √(a²+b²)

Now , we will find out height of triangle.

Let height of triangle be h.

By using Pythagoras theorem :-

=> h² = [√(a²+b²) ]² - b²

=> h² =(a²+b²) - b²

=> h² = a²+b² - b²

=> h² = a²

=> h = a units

We know that :-

Sin x = height/ hypotenuse

tan x = Height / base

So , now we will find out the value of sinθ and tanθ.

=> Sin θ = a/√(a²+b²)

=> tan θ = a/b
