the energy of second excited state is
since its in ground state, n=1
the first excited state, n=2
then second excited state,n=3

since,
energy=
[tex] - 13.6 \div {n}^{2} \\ - 13.6 \div 9 = - 1.51ev

anjan99: -1.51 is energy of second excited state of h-atom its 1.51ev
Abrasive: got it
