you might have noticed the differences between the shrill voice of a child and the deep voice of a man. The shrillnessof sound produced is determined by the frequency of the vibrating body . Shrillness is also explained using a term called pitch . Higher the frequency of the vibrating body, the higher will be it pitch. The high-pitched sound appears shrill, and a low pitch sound appears deep or gruff to our ears.
