Answer

6. For an object in periodic motion, the amplitude is the maximum displacement from equilibrium. Periodic motion also applies to things like spring and waves. The sine function oscillates between values of +1 an' -1. Thus, it is used to discribe periodic motion. The unit for amplitude is meters (m).

The frequency of oscillation is Hertz (Hz). It is the no. of oscillation per second.

7. If a force is applied on an object, then the effect may occur: -

1. It can change its size.

2. It can change its direction.

3. It can change its motion.

4. It can break the object.

Any of the above can be seen as an effect of force upon an object.

6. Amplitude is the magnitude of change in the oscillating variable with each oscillation within anoscillating system. For example, sound waves in air are oscillations in atmospheric pressure and theiramplitudes are proportional to the change in pressure during oneoscillation.

Frequency = hertz (Hz)

7. It can be broken, can change shape, size and direction.
