if a,b and c are in A.P., then b-a=c-b

now

1/ca-1/bc

=b-a/abc

=c-b/abc(b-a=c-b)

and

1/ab-1/ca

=c-b/abc

therefore, 1/ca-1/bc=1/ab-1/ca

Hence 1/bc, 1/ca and 1/ab are in A.P.
