Explanation:

Hope you know the wheastonbridge theorem i.e.

shown in the attachment.

Here 4/6 = 2/3 Thus the vertical resistance line having 4 ohm will be cancle out.

Now there are two paths for current

  1. 4 ohm + 2 ohm = 6 ohm
  2. 6 ohm + 3 ohm = 9 ohm

They both are in parallel hence its equivalent resistence will be 6×9 / 6+9 = 18/5 ohms.

Now by Ohms law V = IR

current i = V/R

= V × 5/18

= 5V/18 Volts
